President Trump conditions housing bill signing on passage of voter eligibility legislation

The announcement came earlier this week and halted a planned signing ceremony for the housing measure. The president has repeatedly urged Senate Republicans to pass the legislation and called on them to abolish the filibuster to move the bill forward.
