President Trump received $77,808 from the Screen Actors Guild pension plan and $8,724 from the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists plan in 2025, according to his mandatory financial disclosure. The Screen Actors Guild payments began after he qualified for a pension in 1992. He joined both unions in 1989.
Background on membership and resignation Trump resigned from SAG-AFTRA in 2021 after the union said it found probable cause that he violated membership rules through his role in the Jan. 6, 2021 events at the Capitol. Federal labor law preserves vested pension rights regardless of later membership status.
The same disclosure showed he earned more than $2.2 billion in total income for the year, including $1.4 billion from family cryptocurrency ventures. Residual payments under $201 each were reported for appearances in several television shows and films.
A White House deputy press secretary stated that neither Trump nor his family has engaged or will engage in conflicts of interest.
