Trump did not provide details on the offer. Earlier this week, Trump extended a ceasefire with Iran until Tehran presents a unified peace proposal. The extension follows the administration's assessment of internal divisions in Iran between hard-liners and moderates, which have complicated a coherent response.
When asked about negotiation counterparts, Trump said the U.S. is dealing with those currently in charge.
