The Times reported the sale will generate funds for investment in housing and nature projects. The Prince of Wales will consolidate holdings around five core areas: Cornwall, Dartmoor, the Isles of Scilly, the Bath area, and Kennington in South London.
The estate has been under his control since his father became king in 2022.
$215 million will go toward housing projects in the Isles of Scilly, Cornwall, and Kennington. The goal is to create between 10,000 and 12,000 homes by 2040. An additional $161 million is planned for workplaces and economic development in the five regions. Environmental recovery schemes will receive nearly $27 million, while wildlife projects will receive nearly $360 million.
