The property is scheduled to open in 2027 on West Artificial Island in Guangdong Province, with trial rooms and services starting in late 2026. The hotel will contain 44 high-end rooms along with a restaurant, gym and additional guest areas.
Robots will handle reception, luggage transport, drink orders via smartphone, waste detection during cleaning and other support tasks. Specific models include the FlashBot for vending deliveries, the PUDU T300 for moving luggage from lobby to rooms, and the PUDU CC1 Pro and PUDU MT1 units for cleaning with AI waste-detection technology.
The PuduFM 1.0 embodied intelligence foundation model and PuduAgent software will coordinate operations across the property.
Fox News reported that Shenzhen Culture & Tourism Industry Development is partnering with Pudu Robotics on the project. At a Shenzhen launch event, BellaBot Pro served coffee while KettyBot Pro delivered refreshments and snacks. Cong Guo, co-founder and CTO of Pudu Robotics, stated the project is an important step toward large-scale deployment of embodied intelligence in premium hospitality environments.
Over the next four years the island is expected to add further robotics across tourism and hospitality.
