Qatar Reports Drone Strike on Cargo Vessel in Its Waters as Iran Continues Reviewing US Proposal
A commercial cargo vessel arriving from Abu Dhabi was targeted by a drone in Qatar’s territorial waters on Sunday, with no injuries reported. Iran’s Foreign Ministry said it was still reviewing Washington’s 14-point proposal amid ongoing mediation, while Israeli strikes continued in southern Lebanon and arrests took place across the West Bank.

The vessel, arriving from Abu Dhabi, sustained a limited fire that was brought under control. No injuries were reported, and the ship continued its journey toward Mesaieed Port.
U.S. secretary of state, expressed the necessity for all parties to respond to ongoing mediation efforts. The prime minister called for a comprehensive agreement that achieves lasting peace in the region, according to a Qatar government statement.
