Qinux Vultriox Steel Cable Trimmer Head Released for Brush Cutters

A steel-cable trimmer head called the Qinux Vultriox went on sale May 22, 2026. The device is intended to replace the nylon-string spool on existing brush cutters and string trimmers. The product is offered in two versions. The three-blade model is described for edge work and lighter vegetation. The six-blade model is described for heavier brush and land clearing.

The head uses fixed lengths of heavy-duty steel cable mounted to a central hub. When the trimmer motor spins the head, the cables cut through grass, weeds, and light brush. The manufacturer states that the cables do not break on contact with rocks or hard surfaces the way nylon line does.
