Quarterback says learning offense feels easier in second year

The quarterback said offseason practices have been more enjoyable this year than last. A year ago, he felt thrown into the deep end of the head coach's offense. He told running backs coach Eric Studesville that learning everything at once felt like drowning.
"It's a hell of a lot more fun for me than it was last year," the quarterback said. '" This year, he said, the team can build on what it finished last season. He added that he is gaining confidence in placing the ball where receivers want it.
The quarterback said one goal is for the team to become the highest-scoring offense in the NFL.
