Quinten Post Signs Three-Year, $30 Million Offer Sheet with Memphis Grizzlies After Warriors Decline to Match

Quinten Post signed a three-year, $30 million offer sheet with the Memphis Grizzlies after the Golden State Warriors chose not to match it. The 7-foot reserve center becomes the first restricted free agent in the $5 million-plus range to depart via offer sheet since 2020. Only the first season of the contract is guaranteed at $9 million.
The Grizzlies added $1.35 million in unlikely incentives to that season. The second and third seasons are each for $8.5 million with $1.2 million in unlikely incentives, though neither is guaranteed. The Warriors drafted Post 52nd overall in the 2024 NBA Draft.
He started 49 of 109 games across his first two seasons and made 73 three-pointers at nearly 41 percent in 42 games as a rookie. In the 2025-26 season he shot 33.6 percent from three on 4.1 attempts per game in 17.3 minutes. The Warriors gave Post a $2.6 million qualifying offer.
They signed veteran centers Al Horford and Kristaps Porzingis in free agency, projecting Post behind both on the depth chart. Post spent his first two NBA seasons with Golden State.
