notesfrompoland.comRail Europe announced a partnership with Leo Express on June 2, 2026, that lets travellers book tickets for routes connecting Prague, Krakow, Warsaw, Ostrava and Olomouc from one platform. The agreement marks Rail Europe's third network addition in three months. Earlier in 2026 the company partnered with BritRail and European Sleeper.
Leo Express has operated since 2010 and runs modern, budget-friendly services across the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Germany. Rail Europe works with more than 250 rail providers and has more than 90 years of experience in the sector. Björn Bender, chief executive of Rail Europe, said: "European rail is still too fragmented and too complex to access across borders.
Bender added that every new integration expands access and removes friction for travellers and partners, calling the Leo Express deal another step in connecting more of Europe through rail. Direct trains from London to Lille take just over one hour.
