Rams Acquire Myles Garrett From Browns in Multi-Pick Trade

The Los Angeles Rams acquired edge rusher Myles Garrett from the Cleveland Browns on Monday in exchange for Pro Bowl edge rusher Jared Verse and multiple future draft selections. The trade brings the reigning AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year and 2025 sack leader to the NFC West, where he will face the Seattle Seahawks at least twice per season.
The Seahawks returned virtually all members of their offensive line from the 2025 season while adding competition at right guard. The unit finished eighth in run block win rate and 12th in pass block win rate during the 2025 regular season. Seattle extended right tackle Abraham Lucas for three years and $46 million last summer and left tackle Charles Cross for four years and $104.4 million in January.
The team also drafted left guard Grey Zabel in the first round in 2025. All 11 offensive linemen who played at least one snap for Seattle last season remain under contract, along with two practice squad players. The team signed guard Beau Stephens after the draft and re-signed Josh Jones for one season at $4 million.
Garrett recorded 23 sacks in 2025 and has the third-highest pass rush win rate among edge defenders since entering the league. The Rams' acquisition adds another potential obstacle for the Seahawks as they attempt to repeat as Super Bowl champions.
