Rams Rookie Max Klare Says Tom Brady Advised Him on Trading Cards

Los Angeles Rams tight end Max Klare said Tom Brady advised incoming NFL players at the NFLPA Rookie Premiere to collect as many of their trading cards as possible. Klare, selected by the Rams in the second round of last month’s NFL draft, spoke with The California Post about the advice he received during a sit-down with Brady at the event in Los Angeles.
“He was like, ‘Make sure you get all your cards,’” Klare said. Klare said he expects to sign 8,500 Topps cards during the weekend.
Mahan, the CEO of Fanatics Collectibles, said the cards will serve as memories for the players even if they do not become stars. Klare added that hearing advice from Brady was impactful and that he intends to follow the recommendation about collecting his own cards.
