A rapper posted several Instagram messages that mocked a fighter’s loss and knee injury from a mixed-martial-arts bout held over the weekend. The fight ended after 69 seconds when the fighter sustained the knee injury while attempting a roundhouse kick. ”
The rapper later posted a video in which he repeated insults about the fighter’s age and questioned the completeness of footage from that earlier incident. In the same video the rapper stated he would not apologize and described the ongoing disagreement as mutual. Some social-media users criticized the timing of the posts, but the rapper continued with additional remarks.
The fighter has one bout remaining on his current contract and said he will need knee surgery before any return to competition.
