Redesigned Audi Q7 and North America-Only SQ7 to Arrive Late 2026 as 2027 Models

Audi will begin selling the redesigned Q7 and the North America-only SQ7 later in 2026 as 2027 model-year vehicles. 9-liter V6 that produces 429 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. The SQ7 uses a V8 engine rated at 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, the same unit found in the RS7.

Both vehicles pair their engines with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Standard Q7 models ride on steel springs, while adaptive air suspension is optional on the Q7 and standard on the SQ7. The SQ7’s air suspension includes an optional third mode that lowers the vehicle by more than 30 mm.

-spec Q7s receive 25,600-pixel digital matrix LED headlights. S. vehicles can show those icons only when parked. When equipped with dynamic turn signals, the Q7 projects the signals onto the road surface at night.

A separate “marking light” feature illuminates pedestrians in the dark. The new Q7 has a taller D-pillar and a more upright design than the previous model. Standard Q7s ride on 20-inch wheels; the SQ7 rides on 23-inch wheels.

Inside, buyers can choose an optional passenger screen, olive-wood trim, or, on the SQ7, carbon-fiber trim and blue leather seats. Two wireless charging stations and 100-watt USB-C ports are standard. All seats are power-adjusted.

The second row can be configured as a three-seat bench or two captain’s chairs. All seats in both rear rows fold with one touch. 1 cubic feet with the second and third rows folded.

The third row is intended mainly for occasional use or smaller children. Pricing and EPA fuel-economy estimates will be released closer to the vehicles’ arrival in the United States.
