Renault Korea Motors June Sales Fall 45.7 Percent While New SUV Unveiled
Renault Korea Motors Co. reported sharp declines in both monthly and first-half vehicle sales amid weak demand. Domestic sales fell 32.2 percent while overseas sales dropped 64.3 percent in June. Cumulative sales through June also declined 29 percent from a year earlier.

Renault Korea Motors Co. sold 4,651 vehicles in June, down 45.7 percent from the same month a year earlier. The South Korean unit of France's Renault S.A. cited weak demand in both domestic and overseas markets for the decline.
Domestic sales totaled 3,400 units last month, a 32.2 percent decrease from June 2025. Overseas sales reached 1,251 units, down 64.3 percent over the same period. Cumulative sales for the first six months of 2026 stood at 33,384 units, 29 percent below the total recorded in the first half of 2025.
Domestic sales through June fell 24.5 percent to 21,187 units, while export sales declined 35.7 percent to 12,197 units. A flagship Filante SUV developed by the company was unveiled at a media event in Seoul on January 13.
