Rep. Thomas Massie appeared on Fox News' America's Newsroom for a live interview on Tuesday. " He argued that the race is a test of whether voters want American representatives or strict Trump loyalty, even when funded predominantly by PACs tied to a foreign country.
Massie said his loyalty is to the Constitution and to the people he represents, not to a President nor to a Party. He added that this is how the Founders expected the Republic to work.
The interview comes as outside groups have increased spending in the race. Massie has represented Kentucky's 4th congressional district since 2012. No other candidates or campaign officials were named in the interview.
