U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. Unofficial results show Fuller defeating his opponent by more than 11 percentage points. Voter turnout in the contest was lower than in the 2024 general election, which coincided with the presidential race.

Greene, who resigned early in her term this year after a falling out with President Donald Trump, had won the district by more than 28% in 2024. The New York Times reported that Democrats shifted the district 25 points to the left compared to the 2024 presidential race. Politico noted that Fuller's margin was narrower than expected.

After Election President Trump commented on the election in a Truth Social post on April 8, 2025, praising Fuller as a large improvement over Greene.

Trump referred to the seat as a "TRUMP +37" district and mentioned the low turnout despite multiple candidates. He congratulated Fuller on the win. Greene responded on X, stating that the district was never at risk of flipping to Democrats but that the results reflected Trump's policy shifts.

She accused Trump of prioritizing foreign interests over America First principles, including handling of Epstein files and involvement in foreign wars. Greene had previously supported Trump but broke with him last year.

The feud escalated on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2025, when Trump posted on Truth Social threatening Iranian power plants and bridges.

Greene criticized the post on X, calling Trump insane and urging his administration to intervene. She wrote that Christians in the administration should beg forgiveness from God and stop worshipping the president. On April 7, after another Trump post threatening an entire civilization in Iran, Greene called for invoking the 25th Amendment to remove him from office.

She stated that no bombs had dropped on America and described the threats as evil and madness. No bombs were reported to have been dropped as of April 8.

related elections, Democrats won a Wisconsin Supreme Court race by a significant margin, as reported by CNBC.

Republicans maintained control of the Georgia seat, described as safe by CNBC. Conservative candidates also faced losses in Wisconsin, according to The New York Times.
