Retired Lt. Gen. Kellogg Calls for U.S. Ground Troops in Iran

Retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg called on Monday for U.S. ground troops in Iran and the formation of a new American negotiating team. He said the war has changed and listed about five steps the United States should take now.
Kellogg stated that real estate experts should not handle negotiations during active fighting. He added that any negotiations team should consist of a real hardcore son of a b---- that is just sitting on the ground and can really do it well. Airstrikes alone would not end the conflict, Kellogg said.
Ground troops are needed to do something, though they do not need to advance all the way to Tehran. U.S. forces completed nine straight days of strikes against Iran on Sunday. The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated on Monday that two deviant oil tankers blew up after navigating the Strait of Hormuz.
The Pentagon on Monday identified 1st Lt. Tyler Feehan and Pvt. Isabella Gonzales as the two U.S. soldiers killed in an Iranian attack in Jordan last week. Feehan was killed in action on Saturday and Gonzales was killed in action on Friday.
