The Verge reported that Reto Project is releasing the Kodak EC35 35mm film camera priced at $34.99 following the success of the company's $99 Kodak-branded Snapic A1. The model incorporates a 25mm acrylic lens with a fixed f/10 aperture and a 1/100 shutter speed. It includes manual wind and rewind along with a built-in automatic flash.
A sliding lens cover serves as the camera's sole special feature. The device is available in seven colors: butter yellow, lavender, powder blue, blush pink, avocado green, midnight black, and vanilla white. The Verge noted that the EC35 requires almost no thought to use, placing it on par with drugstore disposables.
