The class includes six British acts—Oasis, Iron Maiden, Sade, Phil Collins, Billy Idol, and Joy Division/New Order—alongside American hip-hop and soul artists Wu-Tang Clan and Luther Vandross, marking the highest number of British inductees in a single year since five in 2019. There were no British inductees into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2021.

The 2026 ceremony is set to take place on November 14 at the Peacock Theatre. More than 1,200 voters, including artists, historians, and industry professionals, participate in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame selection process. The 2026 shortlist featured 17 nominees.
