"When he throws that many pitches out of the bullpen, you kind of treat him as a starter because he needs to rest.
The pitcher is scheduled to work behind an opener on Sunday. The manager added that the pitcher, already on full rest after appearing on Monday, could be available if needed on Saturday. The team has compiled a 12-4 record at the stadium since 2021.
