Rookie Outfielder Hits RBI Double in 10th After Batting Order Promotion

A rookie outfielder was moved up to the fifth spot in the batting order for a game that ended in a 3-1, 10-inning victory. The move came as the manager sought additional offensive production from an inconsistent lineup. The pitcher is scheduled to work behind an opener on Sunday. The manager added that the pitcher, already on full rest after appearing on Monday, could be available if needed on Saturday. The team has compiled a 12-4 record at the stadium since 2021.
