AllAfrica reported that these measures have been relayed to groups working on the ground in the conflict-affected region.
The Darfur Network for Human Rights (DNHR) documented two separate incidents involving the detention of humanitarian personnel in the area. RSF forces detained staff members from a humanitarian organization last week, AllAfrica stated. During that detention, RSF forces confiscated the staff's phones and Starlink devices.
The RSF then transferred the detained staff from the WR organization to El Fasher. Authorities released the detained staff from the WR organization following investigation. The staff from the WR organization returned to Tawila camp and continue their work in Al-Salam locality, North Darfur.
RSF forces held the detained staff from the MLM organization for three days. RSF forces released the detained staff from the MLM organization after questioning.
