Russian guided bombs hit apartment block in Kharkiv, killing one and injuring nine

Russian guided bombs struck an apartment block in Kharkiv on Saturday, killing at least one person and injuring nine others, including a 6-year-old, authorities said. A body was recovered from the rubble hours after the strike in the city's Kholodnohirskiy district. The head of the regional administration said at least nine people were injured, five of whom were hospitalized.

Additional strikes reported Elsewhere in Kharkiv, a Russian drone struck a civilian car on Friday evening, killing a man and injuring the woman driving, the same regional official said. Ukraine's air force said it shot down 92 of 99 Russian drones launched overnight, with seven striking targets in three locations.

Russian air defenses separately repelled a drone attack on an oil refinery in Tyumen, western Siberia, with no damage reported and staff evacuated. Moscow did not immediately comment on the Kharkiv strikes. Ukraine has previously targeted Russian oil facilities in an effort to reduce revenue for the war effort.
