Ryu Hae-ran climbed five spots to No. 7 in the latest women's world golf rankings released Tuesday. The 25-year-old reached the ranking after winning the KPMG Women's PGA Championship at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota, on Sunday. She finished at 13-under 275, two strokes ahead of the runner-up.
It marked her first LPGA major title and her fourth victory on the tour. Ryu had last been ranked inside the top 10 on Aug. 11, 2025, and her previous career high was fifth.
Korean players Kim Hyo-joo remained at No. 3 and Kim Sei-young stayed at No. 10. Yoon moved up 22 places to a career-best No. 17 after beginning the year at No. 67. Ryu is one of three South Korean players inside the top 10.
