S&P 500 ETF VOO Becomes First Fund to Surpass $1 Trillion in Assets

ecns.cnThe S&P 500 ETF VOO has become the first exchange-traded fund to exceed $1 trillion in assets under management. VOO attracted $69 billion in net inflows during the first five months of 2026. The fund is on track to record its largest annual intake since its launch in 2010.
The same fund posted inflows of $118 billion in 2024 and $138 billion in 2025. Its assets under management have more than tripled since the 2022 bear market. By comparison, the S&P 500 ETF IVV holds approximately $860 billion in assets, while SPY stands at approximately $785 billion.
