Diana Shnaider defeated world number one Aryna Sabalenka 3-6, 7-5, 6-0 in the French Open quarterfinals on Wednesday at Roland Garros in Paris. Sabalenka won the first set 6-3. She then led 5-3 in the second set before Shnaider won seven of the next nine games to take the set 7-5.
