Safety works out with team seeking secondary addition

A safety participated in a workout on Monday as officials examined a possible veteran addition to the secondary. Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reported that the safety had 53 tackles, a sack, and an interception during the 2025 season while starting eight of 16 appearances.

The same safety recorded 72 tackles, 4.5 sacks, two interceptions, a forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries across four prior seasons.

Workout details Garafolo stated no signing is imminent.

Officials could revisit adding the safety in the coming weeks.
