Sal Stewart Hits Two Home Runs in Reds' 8-3 Victory Over Giants

Sal Stewart hit two three-run homers on April 15, 2024, leading the Cincinnati Reds to an 8-3 victory over the San Francisco Giants at Great American Ball Park. Stewart's six runs batted in (RBI) during the game tied a franchise record for the most RBI by a Reds rookie in a single game. The Reds scored a season-high eight runs, improving their record to 12 wins this season.

Prior to this game, the Reds ranked 27th in Major League Baseball (MLB) in scoring. Stewart's performance also marked a significant contribution to the team's offensive output. In addition to his two home runs, Stewart leads all MLB rookies with seven home runs and ranks first in slugging percentage.
