Samsung announced the Galaxy A27 smartphone at a price of $349.99. The amount is $50 higher than the preceding model despite several specification reductions. The device features a Qualcomm chipset that replaces the previous processor. Camera resolution on the selfie and ultrawide lenses is lower, and the phone carries an IP64 water-resistance rating instead of a higher grade.

Battery capacity stays at 5,000 mAh, and the display measures 6.7 inches with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The phone measures 7.8 mm thick, a slight increase from the prior version. The rear camera resolution is unchanged at 50 megapixels.
