ForbesSamsung has begun internal testing of One UI 9 on the Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy M34, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, Forbes reported. A build for the Galaxy A37 was also spotted on the company's servers. The confirmed testing lineup now includes the Galaxy S23, S24, S24 FE, S25, S26, A35, A56, A57, A37, M34, Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6.
Samsung is conducting development simultaneously across four generations of flagships, four A-series devices, one M-series model and two 2024 foldables. Galaxy Unpacked is scheduled for the end of July and will mark the official launch of One UI 9, Forbes reported. A stable version will reach the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series at the London event, with other devices receiving the update afterward.

The Galaxy S26 beta program has followed a two-week schedule, with Beta 1 on May 13, Beta 2 on May 26 and Beta 3 on June 16. Beta 3 addressed nine issues, including camera preview cropping, inaccurate 30x zoom focus, widgets not updating, S Pen gesture failures, a My Files scrolling bug, random reboots during streaming and screen glitches during calls or status bar pulls.
One UI 9 adds a combined TalkBack screen-reader update, a Text Spotlight floating zoom tool and high-risk app detection. The prior One UI 8.5 release had already introduced major visual changes and AI features.
