The Samsung Lions said Friday they have given a second extension to their injury replacement pitcher Jack O'Loughlin. O'Loughlin first joined the Lions on March 16 as a temporary fill-in for American starter Matt Manning. The new contract pays him $100,000 through July 16.
O'Loughlin's initial six-week deal paid him $50,000. 50 ERA, 27 strikeouts and 12 walks in 28 innings, the Lions signed him to a new six-week contract worth $30,000 on April 30. 70 ERA and 20 strikeouts in 23 1/3 innings.
