Samuel Basallo returned to catching for the Baltimore Orioles on June 7 after missing one game with abdominal discomfort. He has appeared at first base, designated hitter and catcher in recent games.

Crawford for the second straight game on June 7 because of a hand injury he suffered Friday when hit by a pitch. Colt Emerson started at shortstop and Patrick Wisdom played third base. The Los Angeles Angels plan to promote 22-year-old infielder Denzer Guzman from Triple-A Salt Lake.
