Satellite Images Show Smoke Screens on Kerch Bridge After Strikes Damage Multiple Crimean Bridges

Satellite images from June 2026 show smoke screens covering parts of the Kerch Bridge as Russian smoke generator vehicles operated there. Business Insider reported that the images, provided by commercial satellite imagery company Vantor, captured the activity after an attack on a Russian oil facility in Kerch on June 23.

Ukrainian special operations forces destroyed a railway bridge over the North Crimean Canal near Rozdolne during the night of June 22.

The unit said its drones hit both the railway track and one bridge span. The bridge had carried cargo and military supplies from Russia through Crimea. Satellite images also show damage to the Henichesk Bridge and the Chonhar Bridge on June 23.
