Saudi Arabia's first ultra-luxury train, Dream of the Desert, is scheduled to begin operations at the end of 2026. Cabins on the train start at $8,000 per night. One itinerary departs Riyadh in the afternoon for a two-day nonstop swing through the desert.
Separate three-day tours head north to AlUla, passing prehistoric rock art at Jubbah and including a night of camping in the dunes.
