Sean Strickland has purchased a plane ticket to Washington for next week and says he will stage a peaceful protest outside the White House gates during the UFC event scheduled for June 14. ” He posted videos on X in which he said, “Apparently I’m not American enough to go to Freedom 250 but I’ve still got my ticket,” and added, “You guys, I already bought my plane ticket.

” The fighter said he intends to bring his championship belt and a large bullhorn to the demonstration.

“I’m gonna bring the belt, I’m gonna get a big f—— bull horn and we’re gonna go right up to the gates,” Strickland said. “So, if you guys are going to be there, let’s f—— go. ” Strickland encouraged fans to join the protest.

He is one of the few current American UFC champions. President Donald Trump has said he might leave the UFC octagon that has been built on the White House lawn for the event. Dana White has invited a list of celebrities, and a significant number of tickets have been allocated to active-duty military personnel who are fans of the promotion.

Com reported the details of Strickland’s statements and the planned June 14 card.
