Secretary of State Marco Rubio said he would answer a question about whether Israel possesses nuclear weapons only in a classified setting during Wednesday's House Foreign Affairs Committee meeting. The question came from Rep. Joaquin Castro.

Rubio stated that the matter is both classified and sensitive and would not be addressed publicly. "If we're speaking frankly, I think most of the world assesses that they do," Rubio said. " The exchange occurred during the committee's regular session on foreign policy matters.
