A man was arrested at Trump National Doral Golf Club in Miami on Saturday after he became disruptive at a security checkpoint and made physical contact with a Secret Service agent, according to the Secret Service. m. when the individual failed to comply with lawful orders, leading to charges of disorderly conduct and resisting an officer without violence by Doral police.

"The individual became disruptive and failed to comply with lawful orders. He then made physical contact with a member of the Secret Service and was taken into custody without further incident," said Michael Townsend, acting special agent in charge of the Secret Service’s Miami field office, in a statement reported by CBS News.
The Secret Service stated that the event did not impact protective operations and that former President Donald Trump was not on the property at the time. No name or motivation for the arrested individual has been publicly released by authorities. The arrest followed increased screening at the club due to a PGA Tour event that weekend.
The arrest came one week after an incident at the White House Correspondents' Dinner in Washington, D.C., where Cole Tomas Allen allegedly fired shots in an attempt to assassinate President Trump. According to court proceedings detailed in The Washington Times, prosecutor Jeanine Pirro presented evidence including Allen's statements to investigators, where he reportedly said, "I planned this for weeks," and described himself as "lucid and clear" in his intentions.
Allen, a Caltech graduate and indie video game developer, allegedly bypassed security and opened fire, striking a Secret Service agent who was protected by a bulletproof vest. Trump was escorted from the dais during the event. The Los Angeles Times reported on Allen's background, noting he was a former young athlete who graduated from Caltech before working as a video game developer; no specific motive was detailed in the court filings mentioned.
