Senseonics Presents One-Year CGM Data at ADA Meeting

Senseonics Holdings, Inc. presented new real-world evidence on its Eversense 365 continuous glucose monitoring system at the American Diabetes Association's 2026 Scientific Sessions in New Orleans. The dataset included the first 12,360 sensors used by open-loop patients and 153 sensors used by closed-loop patients for more than 30 days as part of the twiist automated insulin delivery system.

The company said the findings expand on earlier results shared at the International Conference on Advanced Technologies and Treatments for Diabetes.

The presentation showed consistent adherence and glucose metrics between the first and second six-month periods for the same sensors. Senseonics stated that the one-year implantable CGM delivered comparable results in both open-loop and closed-loop configurations.

The company reported that the Eversense 365 and twiist combination produced glucometrics that compared favorably with other automated insulin delivery systems in real-world settings.

"This real-world data showcases the positive impact that Eversense 365 is bringing to patients, regardless of their preferred treatment plan," a company official said. The statement noted that the system provides consistent performance across a full year and gives patients and providers additional options.

A second company official added that the single-sensor consistency validates both the current product and the underlying technology for future devices.
