The watches state that utility outages are possible and advise residents to secure loose objects and seek shelter in a basement or interior room if threatening weather approaches.
People outside are told to protect themselves from flying debris and hail. Affected communities include Armstrong, Atikokan, the City of Thunder Bay, Dryden, Fort Frances, Ignace, Nipigon, Pickle Lake, Sioux Lookout, and Webequie, along with surrounding areas and parks. ca or by using the hashtag #ONStorm on social media.
