Shark Tank Investor Describes Sleep Habits From His 20s
Robert Herjavec discussed the limited sleep he accepted while building businesses in his 20s. He said the trade-off was worth it at the time and that success requires sustained effort over years.
entrepreneur.comRobert Herjavec said he slept two to three hours a night during his 20s while working to build a better life. He stated that the price of success changes over time and that the price when he was younger was almost no sleep.
Herjavec said many people want success but fewer are willing to pay the price. He added that he was tired all the time but preferred being tired to being poor. He noted that people often see only the finished result and overestimate what can be done in one year while underestimating what can be achieved in ten.
Herjavec said his family immigrated to Canada after his father was jailed 22 times for criticizing communism. He said that experience shaped his views on work and personal responsibility. He built technology and cybersecurity companies that were later sold to Nokia and AT&T Canada.
