SharpLink Gaming (SBET) will join the Russell 2000 and Russell 3000 indexes effective after markets close on June 29, the company said Tuesday. The addition is part of FTSE Russell’s annual index reconstitution. U.S. equities and are linked to roughly $12 trillion in assets through passive and active strategies.
SharpLink holds 872,984 ETH, making it the second-largest public holder of the cryptocurrency after Bitmine. 8 billion at current prices. The firm has not purchased additional ETH since October. Its stock price has fallen about 95 percent from its peak in May 2025 but remains more than double the level recorded before the company adopted an Ethereum treasury strategy.
Chalom said the inclusion validates the company’s institutional-grade ETH treasury strategy and can strengthen access to capital markets. The stock traded down about 2 percent on Tuesday, in line with the price movement of ETH.
