Six People Wounded, None Fatally, in Hanover, Maryland Shooting

Six people were wounded, including two children, in a mass shooting early Saturday in Hanover, Maryland. m. in the suburban community of Hanover outside Baltimore.

Officers found a large crowd actively dispersing and a man with a gunshot wound to his torso. EMS transported the man to a hospital. His injuries were not life-threatening. Three different area hospitals notified detectives that several walk-in victims had arrived seeking treatment for gunshot wounds.

The five additional walk-in victims included a woman with a gunshot wound to an extremity, two boys with lower extremity injuries, and one man and one woman with lower extremity injuries. All six victims are being treated for injuries that are not life-threatening. Detectives are conducting interviews with the victims to determine what occurred.

The investigation is active and further details will be released once the investigation concludes. It is unclear if any arrests had been made as of Saturday afternoon. C.
