Slate Auto Adds Five Crayola Color Wraps for Its Electric Truck

Slate Auto announced a partnership with Crayola to sell five vehicle wraps based on the crayon maker's colors. The wraps, in Cerulean, Fern, Jersey Tomato, Razzmatazz, and Dandelion, will be available through the automaker's online marketplace. The basic Slate truck starts at $24,950 and ships with a single gray composite body.

Standard wrap kits come in more than 100 hues beginning at $500. A Crayola starter pack, priced at $1,550, includes decals, a color-coordinated key-fob cap, and a clip-on dashboard accessory called a Slatelet. Buyers can preorder the truck for $300 and add a Crayola pack later.

Production remains on track for the fourth quarter of 2026, with most units expected to ship through 2027. The rear-wheel-drive electric truck has a claimed 205-mile range, a 2,000-pound tow rating, and a 1,550-pound payload capacity. It accelerates from zero to 60 mph in 8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 90 mph.

The 65-kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack supports DC fast charging at 120 kW, allowing a 20-to-80 percent charge in 30 minutes.
