South Korea and China will hold the 12th Public Diplomacy Forum in Seoul on Monday and Tuesday. The event is a 1.5-track public-private dialogue platform co-hosted by the foreign ministries of both countries. The forum was established in 2014 and brings together government officials, academics and experts to exchange views on advancing Seoul-Beijing relations and building mutual understanding.
This marks Seoul's first time hosting the forum since 2019. Attendees include Korea Foundation President Song Ki-do, Public Diplomacy Ambassador Lim Sang-woo, Chinese Ambassador to South Korea Dai Bing and China Public Diplomacy Association President Chen Xu. South Korea's foreign ministry announced the meeting on Friday.
