WeTax was scheduled to resume operations at 8 a.m. after two scheduled suspensions but failed to do so as planned. By the afternoon, part of the local tax services, including tax payments, had been restored.
The interior ministry extended the deadline for all local tax filings and payments whose original deadlines fell between last Friday and this Thursday to Friday. Additional extensions could be made if the system failure prolongs, the ministry said.
