They focus on supply chain cooperation, the green economy and aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul sectors, according to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources.
Singapore ranks as South Korea's second-largest investment and trade partner within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. Both sides said they aim to update the agreement to expand trade and investment opportunities for companies from each country.
The first round of upgrade negotiations occurred in Singapore in April.
