SpaceX filed for an initial public offering on Wednesday. The filing lists several timelines for projects including Starship, Starlink satellites, and space data centers.
The filing states that Starship is expected to begin payload deliveries to orbit in the second half of 2026. The company also said it plans to begin deploying its next-generation Starlink V3 satellites on Starship during the same period. Starlink V3 satellites are described as providing one terabit per second of downlink capacity per satellite.
One Starship launch is expected to carry 60 of the V3 satellites into low Earth orbit.
SpaceX said it expects to deploy Starlink Mobile V2 satellites on Starship in 2027. The filing also states that the company plans to close a commercial agreement with EchoStar on November 30, 2027, which would give Starlink access to wireless airwaves.
The filing showed that SpaceX borrowed $20 billion to pay off loans tied to X and xAI. The loan matures in September 2027, with an option to extend the deadline to March 2028. SpaceX said it could begin launching orbital data centers as early as 2028.
The filing noted that scaling space AI compute depends on full Starship reusability.
