SpaceX Raises AI1 Satellite Peak Power Target from 150 to 250 Kilowatts

SpaceX has raised the peak power target for its planned AI1 satellite by 67 percent to approximately 250 kilowatts. @SawyerMerritt reported that Elon Musk stated the new average power target will reach 160 kilowatts, a 33 percent increase from the prior 120 kilowatt goal. The upgraded specifications will support an Nvidia Rubin NVL72 rack containing 72 Rubin GPUs.
Musk said the AI1 satellite will remain interchangeable across compute providers.
