Spanish Police Report Links Diary Initials to Prime Minister
A Civil Guard report concludes that the initials 'P.S.' in a seized notebook refer to Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez. The document also describes efforts to influence a legal case involving his brother.
EuronewsA Civil Guard report states that the initials "P.S." appearing in a 2025 notebook seized from a former member of Spain's ruling Spanish Socialist Workers' Party refer to Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez. The report identifies four references to the prime minister in the notebook, including a note of a February 2025 meeting and entries describing requests for information and comments on media and internal government matters.
Investigators concluded that the references relate to a possible strategy to challenge the judge and replace the lawyer in proceedings concerning the prime minister's brother.
