nypost.comThe San Antonio Spurs defeated the New York Knicks 115-111 in Game 3 of the 2026 NBA Finals on Monday, ending the Knicks’ 13-game playoff winning streak. Victor Wembanyama scored 32 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, recorded 6 assists and blocked 3 shots while shooting 11-of-18 from the field.
The Knicks led by seven points at halftime behind a strong first-half performance from OG Anunoby, but the Spurs outscored New York by 11 points over the final two quarters.
The Spurs shot 24 free throws in the second half compared with eight for the Knicks. Knicks coach Mike Brown said after the game, “Never thought I’d see” such a free-throw disparity in the Finals. Game 3 marked the first NBA Finals game played at Madison Square Garden in 27 years.
The Knicks had won the first two games of the series, 105-95 in Game 1 and 105-104 in Game 2. m. m.
